Rule 8. Composition, Term, and continuity

Composition

The Court consists of the Chief Justice and four Associate Justices.

Annual Term

The Court holds a continuous annual Term beginning on the first Monday in October and ending immediately before the first Monday in October of the next year. The Court may hold adjourned or special terms as necessary.

Continuity

A change of Term, administration, Clerk, counsel, government officer, platform role, or Court membership does not dismiss, discontinue, or require refiling of a pending matter. Every matter continues under its existing case number.

Seat and electronic operation

The Court sits at the seat of government when convened in game and operates continuously through the ECMS. A lawful electronic session is a session of the Court regardless of the physical or in-game location of a participant.
