TITLE FIVE — PRIVILEGES AND DISQUALIFICATION
Rule 508. Political Voter Disqualification
Disclosure of Ballot. A voter who casts a ballot may not be asked and may not disclose his or her vote in any proceeding unless the court finds fraud or intentional wrongdoing.
Procedure. The finding required by Rule 508(a) shall be made before the question is put, upon evidence other than the vote itself, and shall be stated upon the record. The disqualification may be raised by the voter, by a party, or by the court on its own initiative. Where the finding is made, the inquiry shall be confined to the election, the ballot, and the wrongdoing found.
Related Matters Not Within the Disqualification. This rule does not prevent inquiry into whether a person voted, whether a person was qualified to vote, or whether a person gave, promised, or received a gift or reward in connection with a vote, which Const. art. VI, § 1 forbids.
