CASE NO.: ____________________
FILING DATE: September 23, 2026
v.
DEFENDANT:
Arthur Chen, individually and/or doing business as Chen's Wok
COMPLAINT FOR CIVIL DAMAGES
Demand: $100,000.00
COMPLAINT
Plaintiff iiKoalaXXS files this civil complaint within the fictional State of Ridgeway and alleges that food consumed at
Chen's Wok caused an acute gastrointestinal illness. Plaintiff further alleges that evidence from the establishment raises
concerns regarding food-service practices, access to food-preparation areas, and business licensing. All factual
allegations remain subject to proof and adjudication by the Ridgeway Court.
1. PARTIES
1.1 Plaintiff. Plaintiff is iiKoalaXXS.
1.2 Defendant. Defendant is Arthur Chen, alleged owner/operator of Chen's Wok.
2. JURISDICTION AND VENUE
This action is brought under the fictional Ridgeway civil court system because the alleged transaction, business, and
resulting dispute arise within Ridgeway. No real-world state or jurisdiction is incorporated into this complaint. The Court is
requested to exercise its civil jurisdiction over the Defendant and the claims stated below.
3. FACTUAL ALLEGATIONS
3.1. On or about ________________, Plaintiff consumed food purchased from Chen's Wok.
3.2. After consuming the food, Plaintiff experienced significant gastrointestinal symptoms, including liquid diarrhea, which
Plaintiff attributes to the meal.
3.3. Plaintiff seeks recovery for alleged medical expenses, related losses, pain and suffering, and other damages arising
from the incident, with total damages demanded in the amount of $100,000.00.
3.4. Plaintiff possesses photographic evidence depicting multiple persons inside the Chen's Wok premises, including
persons positioned on counters and persons located behind food-preparation/service areas.
3.5. Plaintiff alleges that certain persons depicted were not employees or authorized food-service workers. Plaintiff
requests that the Court permit verification of those identities and roles through testimony, staffing records, management
records, or other evidence.
3.6. Plaintiff possesses a business-license screenshot associated with Chen's Wok. The screenshot contains multiple
dates. Plaintiff alleges that the licensing record may establish that the business authorization was expired or otherwise
not current at a relevant time, subject to verification against Ridgeway's official licensing records.
3.7. Plaintiff states that an earlier related civil case was dismissed without prejudice. Plaintiff requests that the Court
consider the actual prior order and docket to determine the procedural effect of that dismissal.
4. COUNT I — NEGLIGENCE
Plaintiff incorporates the preceding allegations.
RIDGEWAY COURT SYSTEM — FICTIONAL ROLEPLAY DOCUMENT Page 2
Defendant allegedly owed customers a duty to exercise reasonable care in food preparation, handling, storage, service,
and maintenance of the premises.
Plaintiff alleges that Defendant breached one or more duties by permitting unsafe conduct in food-service areas and/or
failing to maintain appropriate food-safety controls.
Plaintiff alleges that these acts or omissions caused or contributed to the illness and resulting damages claimed in this
action.
5. COUNT II — VIOLATION OF RIDGEWAY FOOD-SERVICE AND LICENSING
REQUIREMENTS
Plaintiff incorporates the preceding allegations.
Ridgeway food-service and licensing rules are alleged to require appropriate control of food-preparation areas and valid
authorization to operate a food-service establishment.
Plaintiff alleges that the conduct depicted in Exhibit A and the licensing information in Exhibit B warrant investigation and
judicial review for potential violations of those requirements.
Plaintiff does not ask the Court to treat the photographs alone as conclusive proof that any particular individual was
unlicensed or that contamination occurred; those facts should be established through admissible evidence.

other procedural issue.
