search warrants, collecting and reviewed evidence, requested legal process, and
testified in court. Before that, I was a Police Officer with the Palmer Police

pertaining to State laws.
2. The statements contained in this affidavit are based upon my own personal
knowledge; knowledge obtained from other individuals during my participation in

witnesses; my review of records related to this investigation; communications with
others who have knowledge of the events and circumstances described herein; and

information gained through my training and experience. Because this affidavit is
submitted for the limited purpose of establishing probable cause in support of a
Criminal Information, it does not set forth each and every fact that I or others have
learned during the course of this investigation. I have set forth only those facts that
I believe are necessary to establish probable cause to believe that a crime was
committed by the above named individual.
PURPOSE OF AFFIDAVIT
3. Based on my training and experience and the facts as set forth in this affidavit,
there is probable cause to believe that LYDIA234501 (“LYDIA”) has violated
R.V.C. § 7.03 (joyriding).
4. These acts occurred in the State of Ridgeway and involved the unlawful taking of
another person’s vehicle, in which LYDIA drove the car for a short distance before
abandoning it.

STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE
6. On October 5, 2026, at approximately 5:30pm EST, I was off-duty and in-plain
clothes driving under the US-395 Interchange near the Palmer International
Airport when I observed two cars stop in the same lane.
7. Upon reaching them, I observed the victim, identified as YRAYKU, exit a dark red
Visco Luxor, license plate GLK504, and communicate with LYIDA.
8. During their encounter, I observed that LYDIA was driving a black Tremor
Cobral, license plate FLF183.
9. At some point, LYDIA was seen exiting their vehicle, and immediately entering
the visco luxor belonging to the victim.
10. After entering the victim’s car, LYDIA immediately drove away heading South
towards Palmer city.
11. Having observed the victim driving the vehicle just moments prior, I had reason to
suspect the car was stolen, and attempted to follow LYDIA.
12. Shortly thereafter, I arrived at the Palmer Car Dealership, where I found the stolen
vehicle to have been abandoned. LYDIA was not seen in the immediate area.
13. I spoke to the victim, who confirmed that LYDIA had just stolen his car.
14. After the incident, I conducted an in-game records check:
a. The Visco Luxor, license plate GLK504, is registered to the victim.
b. The Tremor Cobral, license plate FLF183, is registered to LYDIA.

CHARGES
Joyriding in violation of R.V.C. § 7.03
15. I have probable cause to believe that LYIDA did take and drive a motor vehicle
belonging to YRAYKU without their consent, but lacked the specific intent to
permanently deprive the owner of possession.
16. My reason to believe that LYDIA committed this offense is based on my own
observations, and those of the victim.
17. Given that the vehicle was shortly abandoned at a car dealership, I do not believe
that LYDIA intended to permanently deprive possession, but rather take the
vehicle for a short distance.
CONCLUSION
18. Your affiant submits that the facts set forth in this affidavit establish probable
cause to believe LYDIA committed violations of R.V.C. § 7.03
19. I declare under the penalty of perjury that the information provided above is true
and correct.
Respectfully submitted,
