To the Clerk:
TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned hereby gives notice that the charge(s) pending against the
Defendant in the above-captioned matter are being dismissed by entry of a nolle prosequi
pursuant to Rid. R. Crim. P. 16(1).
The State enters this nolle prosequi due to the defendant having received a permanent ban which
has been in effect for a period of one month to-date; the defendant having left all
Ridgeway-affiliated communications servers, rendering contact with the defendant nearly
impossible; and the overwhelming caseload already existing within the Superior Court to which
the State believes greater attention is due in the pursuit of preserving the peace and dignity of the
People of the State of Ridgeway. The State finds that further continued prosecution in this matter
is futile; however, as jeopardy has not attached at the time of this entry, the State will consider
refiling this case in the future should the defendant be unbanned and resume activity within the
State.
