SUMMONS
IN A CIVIL ACTION
TO THE DEFENDANT, LargeTitanic2:
A civil action has been filed against you in this Court. A copy of the First Amended
Complaint is attached to this summons and served on you with it.
You must file a written response to the First Amended Complaint with the Clerk of the
Superior Court within seven (7) days after this summons is served on you, and you must serve a
copy of your response on the Plaintiff, Adam Stratton. If you do not respond within that time,
judgment by default may be entered against you for the relief demanded.
If you are sued in your official capacity, the Solicitor General defends proceedings against
government officers in their official capacities. 7 R. Stat. § 122.005. A copy of this summons and
of the First Amended Complaint is also being served on the Solicitor General. 7 R. Stat. § 131.106.
TO THE SHERIFF OF RIDGEWAY COUNTY:
You are commanded to serve this summons and a copy of the First Amended Complaint
upon the Defendant, LargeTitanic2, by delivering them to the Defendant through physical or
electronic means, and to file a return of service with the Court. 7 R. Stat. §§ 131.101, 131.102,
131.103.
