COMES NOW, the Defendant, by and through his/her undersigned counsel,
iiCryptic_LawMD, pursuant to Rid. R. Crim. P. 13(1)(9), puts this Honorable Court on notice
regarding the following:
NOTICE OF DEFENSE OR DEFENSES RAISED
1. Counsel for the Defense notifies this Honorable Court and the State that the Defense, by
and through undersigned counsel, intends to raise the following defenses for trial to prevent a
waiver by virtue of omission:
● Self-Defense.—Pursuant to 6 R. Stat. § 122.201 and 6 R. Stat. § 122.211;
● Justifiable as Execution of Public Duty.—Pursuant to 6 R. Stat. § 122.101(d),
and;
● Belief as Defense.—Pursuant to 6. R. Stat. § 121.103(b)(1).
2. For the purposes of the Defenses of Choice of Evils and Self-defense, the Defense
intends to call witnesses pursuant to its Preliminary Package.
