IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF RIDGEWAY
IN RE THE ARREST OF
ana_camehome,
conducted by the Ridgeway State Police
on September 9, 2026.
Case No. ____________________
MOTION OF THE ATTORNEY
GENERAL TO VACATE
ARREST
6 R. Stat. § 131.608
The State of Ridgeway, by the Attorney General, moves the Court under 6 R. Stat. § 131.608
(Inaugural Laws of 2026, S.B. 002, § 1011(h)) to vacate the arrest of ana_camehome described
below and to issue an expungement of the offense record vacated. In support of this motion, the
Attorney General states as follows:
1. The username of the arrested person is ana_camehome.
2. The arrest was conducted on September 9, 2026, at 22:01, at the Ridgeway National Guard
(RNG) Recruitment Center, within the city limits of Palmer, State of Ridgeway. It is
entered as arrest record no. 202691071b0f8079.
3. The arrest was conducted by Trooper canyoudrown of the Ridgeway State Police, the
agency employing that officer at the time of the arrest.
4. Two offenses were recorded upon the arrest: Disorderly Conduct, R.C.C. § 5.07, and
Failure to Comply, R.C.C. § 2.20. The Attorney General seeks to vacate the offense record
entered against ana_camehome for each of those offenses.
5. No criminal proceeding has arisen from the arrest, and no case number has been assigned to
it.
6. The arrest is not a conviction. ana_camehome has not been adjudicated guilty by any court
of any offense arising from the arrest, and the record sought to be vacated is an arrest record
only. The limitation stated in 6 R. Stat. § 131.608(a) therefore does not apply.
7. The Attorney General relies upon the grounds that the arrest was conducted absent
sufficient or adequate evidence, and that the arrest was not conducted in good faith.
8. The facts supporting those grounds are as follows. The arrest record states that
ana_camehome "intentionally obstructed a peace officer’s vehicle and failed to comply
with a lawful order to exit the roadway." Two minutes earlier, at 21:59, the same officer had
issued ana_camehome a citation under R.V.C. § 6.07 for parking in a bus zone at the same
location. The Attorney General’s review found no evidence to support the recorded
account. There is no evidence that ana_camehome hindered the movement of any person or
created any condition presenting a risk of physical harm to persons or property, as
Disorderly Conduct under R.C.C. § 5.07 requires, and no evidence that a lawful order was
given by the Trooper before the arrest or was knowingly disobeyed, as Failure to Comply
under R.C.C. § 2.20 requires. The arrest was therefore conducted absent sufficient or
adequate evidence. The arrest was also not conducted in good faith. It is one of a series of
arrests by Trooper canyoudrown that the Attorney General has found to be unsupported by
evidence: the Attorney General has vacated the arrests of six other persons arrested by the
same Trooper, and the Trooper is presently the subject of a criminal investigation arising
from his conduct as a peace officer. An arrest recorded upon an account that no evidence
supports, made as part of that course of conduct, was a false arrest and not a good-faith
exercise of the arrest power.
Upon review of these facts, the Attorney General has determined that the arrest was conducted
absent sufficient and adequate evidence and was not conducted in good faith, and has exercised the
authority conferred by 6 R. Stat. § 131.608 to vacate the arrest. A copy of the Order of the Attorney
General to that effect is attached as Exhibit A. Where that authority is exercised, the Court shall
grant the motion and issue an expungement of the offense record vacated. 6 R. Stat. § 131.608(b).
WHEREFORE, the Attorney General respectfully requests that the Court grant this motion, vacate
the arrest of ana_camehome described above, issue an expungement of the offense record vacated,
and grant such further relief as the Court deems just and proper. A proposed order is submitted with
this motion.
Respectfully submitted this 13th day of September, 2026.
