GRAND JURY INDICTMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE STATE OF RIDGEWAY:
The GRAND JURY, for the County of Ridgeway, State of Ridgeway, duly selected, empanelled, sworn, charged,
and organized as such at the AUGUST Term, AD, 2024, of the Ridgeway Superior Court, upon their oaths present
in and to said Court at said term that HUXDOWNLOAD, hereinafter styled Defendant, be hereby charged as
follows.
COUNT 1
INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER
R.C.C. § 3.06 / FELONY
On the 7th of August, 2024, Defendant Huxdownload was on duty as an officer for the Palmer
Police Department when he came across the complainant outside of Sterling. Defendant
Huxdownload stopped his department-issued vehicle in the middle of the road, and got out and
fired multiple shots into the complainant before stopping and detaining the complainant. The
Defendant Huxdownload is then ambushed by a yellow taxi while the complainant is in
Huxdownload’s cuffs. Defendant Huxdownload engages in a firefight with the driver of the
yellow taxi, resulting in Defendant Huxdownload unlawfully killing the complainant.
COUNT 2
AGGRAVATED BATTERY
R.C.C. § 3.05b / FELONY
On the 7th of August, 2024, the Defendant Huxdownload, while on duty as an officer for the
Palmer Police Officer driving his department-issued vehicle stopped in the middle of the road
where the complainant was running. The Defendant Huxdownload got out of his vehicle and
fired four (4) shots at the complainant, striking him and causing bodily damage.
AGAINST THE PEACE AND DIGNITY OF THE STATE.
A true bill.
