AFFIDAVIT
I, O_rangegaming, solemnly affirm under the penalties of perjury that:
1. I am of legal age and competent to make this affidavit.
2. I am a sworn law enforcement officer trained and certified by the Ridgeway Law
Enforcement Training Center.
3. For just over six months, I have been employed by the Ridgeway Park Service as a
sworn law enforcement officer. During that time, I received further training on various aspects of law
enforcement.
4. On August 4, 2024, I was performing my duties as a sworn law enforcement officer
of the Ridgeway Park Service at the community park in Sterling Heights, RW 00000. Eventually, I
witnessed several law enforcement vehicles in a high-speed pursuit come through my jurisdiction (the
“Pursuit”).
5. I involved myself in the Pursuit to ensure public safety and expedite the suspect's
apprehension.
6. Throughout the Pursuit, the other law enforcement officers and I conspicuously used
our emergency vehicle lights and sirens to warn uninvolved motorists about the ongoing situation.
7. At one point during the Pursuit, I saw a pink-colored sedan (the “Sedan”) driving
recklessly, including into oncoming lanes of traffic. The operator was patently ignoring the emergency
vehicle lights and sirens and, in what seemed to be an intentional act, eventually collided with three
law enforcement vehicles involved in the Pursuit (the “Collision”).
8. Upon information and belief, the Pursuit was terminated shortly after and due to the
Collision because law enforcement officers lost sight of the original suspect; the original suspect was
able to flee successfully.
9. Immediately following the Collision, I turned my attention away from the Pursuit and
onto the Sedan.
10. Given the facts herein, I believed I had probable cause to arrest the operator of the
Sedan for obstruction of justice, so I did just that.
11. The operator of the Sedan was identified to be Zoned_JJ.
