IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE STATE OF RIDGEWAY:
The GRAND JURY, for the County of Ridgeway, State of Ridgeway, duly selected, empanelled, sworn, charged,
and organized as such at the AUGUST Term, AD, 2024, of the Ridgeway Superior Court, upon their oaths present
in and to said Court at said term that TROOPER_NOVICH, hereinafter styled Defendant, be hereby charged as
follows.
COUNT 1
AGGRAVATED BATTERY
R.C.C. § 3.05b / FELONY
Or or about the 19th day of April, 2024, at approximately 2302 hours, the Defendant,
Trooper_Novich, while on-duty as a Firefighter, struck rbwf, a Resident, multiple times with a
department issued fire ax, intentionally and knowingly, without legal justification or authority to
do so.
COUNT 2
VANDALISM
R.C.C. § 4.07 / MISDEMEANOR
Or or about the 19th day of April, 2024, at approximately 2302 hours, the Defendant,
Trooper_Novich, while on-duty as a Firefighter, he intentionally and knowingly utilized a
department issued fire ax to destroy the windows of rbwf’s vehicle, without legal justification or
authority to do so.
AGAINST THE PEACE AND DIGNITY OF THE STATE.
