State Attorney JustTheJudge1 of Ridgeway County hereby accuses the
above-named defendant(s) of the following criminal offenses occurring in the County
of Ridgeway, State of Ridgeway.
Count 1: § 3.09 – First-Degree Murder
On or about June 18, 2024, in Ridgeway County, the Defendant did commit
murder in the course of committing or attempting to commit obstruction or
retaliation; or of committing murder of a peace officer or civil department
employee discharging a lawful and official duty, with the knowledge of the person
being a peace officer or civil department employee; or of committing murder with
malice aforethought.

Count 2: § 5.01 – Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
On or about June 18, 2024, in Ridgeway County, the Defendant did possess a
firearm or ammunition without being a holder of a valid RFLID; or did possess a
weapon, firearm, or ammunition that was sourced from an illegal dealer.
Count 3: § 5.05 – Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm
On or about June 18, 2024, in Ridgeway County, the Defendant did discharge a
firearm while within city limits / residential areas without legal means to do such
as a proper permit or for self-defense.
Count 4: § 5.04 – Brandishing
On or about June 18, 2024, in Ridgeway County, the Defendant did, except in self-
defense, while in the presence of another person, draw or exhibit a firearm, whether
loaded or unloaded, in a rude, angry, or threatening manner, or did in any manner
unlawfully use a firearm in a fight or quarrel.
An Investigation has been conducted to determine if said defendant(s) did
commit the stated crime(s). Reports of the investigation, attached hereto and
incorporated by reference show probable cause that defendant(s) did commit the
crime.
