The chronology of this matter is as follows:
May 11, 2024: The Plaintiff’s complaint was accepted, and the Defendant was served
with a summons in a civil action and a copy of the complaint against him. The Defendant
was allocated five days to reply to the complaint.
May 26, 2024: The Defendant has since failed to file a proper response to the complaint
and has not yet spoken in the case chat. The court has indicated to the Plaintiff that it will
enter a sua sponte default order.
The date being May 26, 2024, and the Defendant having failed to file a response within
the proper timeframe, the court will enter a default order sua sponte. The Defendant is
ordered to make a payment to the Plaintiff of $13,668.00 by or before June 2, 2024.
