The chronology of this matter is as follows:
(1) April 29, 2024: The Plaintiff’s Civil Complaint was accepted and the Defendant was served with a
summons over Discord by direct messages. The Defendant was allotted a total of three days to file
a responsive pleading to the court making the pleading due by May 3, 2024.
(2) May 3, 2024: The Defendant failed to file a responsive pleading within the allotted time.
(3) May 5, 2024: The Plaintiff has filed a motion for default judgment along with an affidavit in
support of the motion.
The date being May 11, 2024 with no responsive pleading having been filed, the court will enter a
default order on motion of the Plaintiff. The Defendant is ordered to pay $5,000.00 in punitive damages,
$22,000.00 in compensatory damages, and $5,075.00 for the costs the Plaintiff incurred by contracting an
attorney. Defendant is ordered to make all of the aforementioned payments to the Plaintiff by or before
May 6, 2024 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
