OPINION AND ORDER
1. Defendant is charged with first degree murder, unlawful display of a deadly weapon, unlawful
discharge of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
2. The parties have entered into a plea agreement; the defendant has tendered a plea of guilty to the
court of each count; the parties have submitted terms of sentencing to be considered by the court.
3. The agreement is accepted and the plea of guilty is accepted and entered. Accordingly:
a. With respect to count one, first degree murder, contrary to 3 R.C.C. § 9, the court finds
the defendant guilty.
b. With respect to count two, unlawful display of a firearm, contrary to 5 R.C.C. § 3, the
court finds the defendant guilty.
c. With respect to count three, unlawful discharge of a firearm, contrary to 5 R.C.C. § 5,
the court finds the defendant guilty.
d. With respect to count four, unlawful possession of a firearm, contrary to 5 R.C.C. § 1,
the court finds the defendant guilty.
4. The defendant is ordered to serve a term of imprisonment totalling 45 minutes in the custody of
the State. This court does not see fit for a monetary fine to be imposed in this matter, especially
not of such a low amount and owing to uncertainty about in-game mechanics to issue such a fine.
The court declines to enter a monetary fine.
5. The defendant will be eligible to expunge this conviction in 3 months pursuant to 1 R. Stat. §
2311.
