SUPERIOR COURT OF RIDGEWAY
Civil Action No. RSC-CV-2654
RESPONDENT’S HABEAS CORPUS AFFIDAVIT
Pursuant to 1 R. Stat. § 2211 (v)(a), Respondent submits an affidavit against
Petitioner’s Writ of Habeas Corpus. This affidavit shall serve as the “affidavit
supporting [an] arrest signed by the respondent.” Id.
On March 15th, 2024, I was patrolling Sterling Heights when I was alerted to an
ATM robbery at the Sterling Fitness Center. Upon arrival I witnessed the offender
(Bunster51) stop robbing and run inside the building where he was then detained. After
his detainment I was alerted to another ATM robbery at the same location. After the
robbery started, I began pursuing one of the suspects (Seal_Love) on scene who had a
crowbar in hand and began to run away. Having reasonable suspicion that he initiated
the robbery, I detained him and placed him in my vehicle to bring to booking. Upon
transport to the Sterling Heights Sheriff Sub Station, the suspect claimed to have video
evidence of his innocence and would send it to me. The suspect then proceeded to change
his mind and decided not to send the evidence so he could sue me and go to court instead.
After seeing the suspect was not complying, I proceeded to arrest him for ATM Fraud.
