SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF RIDGEWAY STATE OF RIDGEWAY ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) CASE NO. RSC-XX-XXXX CRIMINAL INFORMATION Plaintiff v. LeaveHerMessage Defendant CRIMINAL INFORMATION Comes forth the State of Ridgeway to seek justice and preserve the dignity of the state and therein charge the defendant as follows; COUNT ONE - 3 R.C.C. § 09 - FIRST-DEGREE MURDER OFFENSE TYPE - FELONY On or about the 21st of February, 2024, in Sterling Heights, Ridgeway County, the defendant intentionally and knowingly caused the death of Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Arthur_Chen. Deputy Arthur_Chen was discharging a lawful and official duty, that being conducting a patrol of Sterling Heights. Deputy Arthur_Chen was on the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office team, driving in a marked Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle, and was wearing a Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office uniform. The defendant stated that he had to commit the murder as the officer would have arrested him for his weapon, which he was unauthorized to have. STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE On 02/21/2024, at approximately 2236 hours UTC, a sworn deputy of the Ridgeway County Sheriff's Office Arthur_Chen (henceforth the “complainant”) was conducting their lawful duties when LeaveHerMessage (henceforth the “defendant”) began to open fire on them after the officer approached with lights on. Beginning with Exhibit A we see the complainant driving towards the defendant with emergency lighting on in their RCSO Actilla. The defendant then pulls out their M2A as the officer’s vehicle comes to a stop. The defendant opens fire and ultimately kills the officer. The defendant can be heard saying that he had to commit the murder as the officer would have arrested him for his weapon (assumably the M2A, which the defendant is not authorised to possess). The defendant then picks up some ammo and allows a nearby civilian notsfeelings to pick up and load a shotgun, which notsfeelings then uses to kill the defendant. An interview was conducted with the complainant and is recorded in Exhibit B. In the interview, the complainant reveals that they were on a ridealong with notsfeelings and was previously killed by the defendant but did not clip it. The complainant states that they re-geared up and returned to the scene. The complainant mentions no other significant interactions with the defendant and does not have any evidence of the previous alleged murder. The complainant was unsure of the origin of the shotgun picked up by notsfeelings but believed it was dropped by an unrelated civilian who was also allegedly killed by the defendant. The defendant was contacted for an interview but did not respond within reasonable time. In conclusion, based on the evidence and statement made by the officer, it is evident that the actions of the defendant were unlawful, and they intentionally murdered the complainant, an on-duty law enforcement officer conducting their lawful duties. This constitutes First Degree Murder, and the defendant ought not to get away without justice being served.
