STATE OF RIDGEWAY
DEPARTMENT OF STATE
OFFICE OF LEGAL ADVISORY
APR 4 2024
FOR PUBLIC RELEASE
FROM: ConstantlyVerbal
Assistant Legal Advisor
SUBJECT: Letter in Re WGT05 (RSC-AH-2559)
Dear Chief Judge koala4Iife,
On or about the date of July 9th, 2023, WGT05 (“respondent”) would be present as
part of a diplomatic envoy towards the State of Barklen, pertaining to his duties as the
designated ambassador. The respondent in the course of his duties as a diplomat indicated
that he would attempt to leak secrets belonging to the Barklen National Guard to the State
of Firestone, which was actively in a period of increased tensions with the State of
Ridgeway. Approximately thirty minutes following the perceived threats issued by the
respondent, he subsequently directly messaged the Secretary of State requesting to
resign, with it being denied immediately and him proceeding to desert.
Therefore, the Secretary of State subsequently contacted the legal team for the
Department of State and requested a dishonorable discharge of the respondent, pursuant
to the general policies of the Ridgeway Department of State.
On March 28th, 2024, the Department of State filed an Administrative Hearing
against the respondent and requested a dishonorable discharge. On March 29th, 2024, the
court requested that the respondent be summoned to appear. The Department of State
complied with this request and contacted the respondent to appear before the court. On
April 1st, 2024, the accused failed to present themselves before the court and the
department moved for an expedited hearing which was granted by yourself.
The accused failed to follow the proper procedure when they intended to resign
from the Department of State. Per the department’s resignation policy, it states, “If you
intend to resign from the department, you must notify your respective division head, who
will handle your request and remove your access to divisional resources. Failure to follow
this formal process will result in a dishonorable discharge + 4 month blacklist.” Their notice
of resignation was denied by the Secretary of State due to an ongoing investigation into
possible violation of department policy. The accused then left all communications with the
department and deserted their duties. The department has not had any contact with the
accused after they were summoned before the court and they have failed to appear.
Per 2 R. Stat. § 3112, the Ridgeway Department of State files this letter alongside the
Administrative Hearing Report. The respondent the department brings before the
Administrative Court did desert their duties and has not responded or complied with efforts
to communicate with the department. The Ridgeway Department of State requests that the
punishment recommended by the impaneled officers be granted.
Yours in public service,
