Comes forth the State of Ridgeway to seek justice and preserve the dignity of the state and
therein charge the defendant as follows;
COUNT ONE - 3 S.C.C § 09 - FIRST-DEGREE MURDER
OFFENSE TYPE - FELONY
On or about the 21st of February, 2024, in Palmer, Ridgeway County, the defendant intentionally and
knowingly caused the death of Senior Transit Operation aspenfun. aspenfun was on the Ridgeway
County Transit Authority team, in a clearly labeled Ridgeway County Transit Authority tow truck, and
was wearing a Ridgeway County Transit Authority uniform clearly displaying the Transit Authority
insignia.
COUNT TWO - 5 S.C.C § 01 - UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM
OFFENSE TYPE - MISDEMEANOR
On or about the 21st of February, 2024, in Palmer, Ridgeway County, the defendant held in his
possession an automatic Micro firearm, a weapon known to have been sourced from an illegal dealer.
COUNT THREE - 5 S.C.C § 04 - BRANDISHING
OFFENSE TYPE - MISDEMEANOR
On or about the 21st of February, 2024, in Palmer, Ridgeway County, the defendant drew his loaded
firearm in a threatening manner towards aspenfun.
COUNT FOUR - 5 S.C.C § 05 - UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM
OFFENSE TYPE - MISDEMEANOR
On or about the 21st of February, 2024, in Palmer, Ridgeway County, the defendant discharged a firearm
while in Palmer city limits intending to do harm to another individual with no legal justification to do so.
STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE
I am a Deputy in the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office and a Detective in the Criminal
Investigations Division (hereinafter “CID”). As a law enforcement officer, I am empowered to conduct
investigations. I have been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since January 27th, 2024. I have
investigated a multitude of cases involving firearms crime.
This affidavit is being submitted in support of a criminal information alleging that
ILoveRoblox51215 violated the following state criminal laws: 3 S.C.C § 09 (First-Degree Murder), 5
S.C.C § 01 (Unlawful Possession of a Deadly Weapon), 5 S.C.C § 05 (Unlawful Discharge of a
Firearm), and 5 S.C.C § 04 (Brandishing).
This affidavit is based on my personal knowledge, information provided to me by other law
enforcement agents, law enforcement records, witness interviews, and my training and experience, as
well as the training and experience of other law enforcement agents.
Because this affidavit is being submitted for the limited purpose of establishing probable cause in
support of a criminal information, I have not included each and every fact known to me concerning this
investigation. I have only set forth the facts that I believe are necessary to establish probable cause that
the suspect violated the state criminal laws set forth herein.
PROBABLE CAUSE
On the 21st of February, 2024 at 2:56 PM EST, ILoveRoblox51215 was observed operating a
gray Cavela, slamming on its brakes and parking in front of aspenfun’s tow vehicle. He then exited the
vehicle and took several steps before drawing his Micro, an unlawful weapon, to open fire at the
complainant. It shall additionally be noted the suspect was in possession of a firearm as a tourist,
someone who may not hold an RFLID. aspenfun was killed while conducting his duties as a civil
department employee. ILoveRoblox51215 sprints back to his vehicle following this shooting.
In an interview with the complainant, aspenfun stated he believes this was a random attack due to his
profession as a tow truck driver, although he did not previously impound the suspect’s vehicle. There
were no previous encounters whatsoever. Regardless, murdering a transit operator would constitute
first-degree murder.
