CRIMINAL INFORMATION
Comes forth the State of Ridgeway to seek justice and preserve the dignity of the state and
therein charge the defendant as follows;
COUNT ONE - 3 S.C.C § 09 - FIRST-DEGREE MURDER
OFFENSE TYPE - FELONY
On or about the 22nd of February, 2024, in Oakland, Ridgeway County, the defendant intentionally and
knowingly caused the death of Senior Transit Operation aspenfun. aspenfun was on the Ridgeway
County Transit Authority team, in a clearly labeled Ridgeway County Transit Authority tow truck, and
was wearing a Ridgeway County Transit Authority uniform clearly displaying the Transit Authority
insignia.
COUNT TWO - 5 S.C.C § 01 - UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM
OFFENSE TYPE - MISDEMEANOR
On or about the 22nd of February, 2024, in Oakland, Ridgeway County, the defendant held in his
possession an automatic Solami firearm, a weapon known to have been sourced from an illegal dealer.
COUNT THREE - 5 S.C.C § 04 - BRANDISHING
OFFENSE TYPE - MISDEMEANOR
On or about the 22nd of February, 2024, in Oakland, Ridgeway County, the defendant drew his loaded
firearm in a threatening manner towards aspenfun.
COUNT FOUR - 5 S.C.C § 05 - UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM
OFFENSE TYPE - MISDEMEANOR
On or about the 22nd of February, 2024, in Oakland, Ridgeway County, the defendant discharged a
firearm while in Oakland residential limits intending to do harm to another individual with no legal
justification to do so.
COUNT FIVE - 4 S.C.C § 08 - ARSON
OFFENSE TYPE - FELONY
On or about the 21st of February, 2024, in Oakland, Ridgeway County, the defendant deliberately set
fire to Quietous’ vehicle without his consent while in a residential area.
STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE
I am a Deputy in the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office and a Detective in the Criminal
Investigations Division (hereinafter “CID”). As a law enforcement officer, I am empowered to conduct
investigations. I have been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since January 27th, 2024. I have received
training to conduct investigations on all types of criminal offenses.
This affidavit is being submitted in support of a criminal information alleging that Haunntings
violated the following state criminal laws: 3 S.C.C § 09 (First-Degree Murder), 5 S.C.C § 01 (Unlawful
Possession of a Deadly Weapon), 5 S.C.C § 04 (Brandishing), 5 S.C.C § 05 (Unlawful Discharge of a
Firearm), and 4 S.C.C § 08 (Arson).
This affidavit is based on my personal knowledge, information provided to me by other law
enforcement agents, complainant interviews, and my training and experience, as well as the training and
experience of other law enforcement agents.
Because this affidavit is being submitted for the limited purpose of establishing probable cause in
support of a criminal information, I have not included each and every fact known to me concerning this
investigation. I have only set forth the facts that I believe are necessary to establish probable cause that
the suspect violated the state criminal laws set forth herein.
PROBABLE CAUSE
On February 22nd, 2024, at around 18:59 (UTC -05), the complainant, aspenfun, was in the
middle of conducting his duties as a Ridgeway County Transit Authority employee. While aspenfun was
on his Ridgeway County Transit Authority vehicle, Haunntings approached aspenfun with a Solami
equipped in his hands. After Haunntings approached aspenfun with a Solami, Haunntings discharged
numerous shots from his firearm. As a result of Haunntings firing upon aspenfun with his Solami,
aspenfun died due to the numerous gunfire that he had received.
