MINUTE ORDER
THIS CAUSE is based on Defendant ANTILOOTBAG’s motion, by and through the Department of
Justice serving as his counsel, to stay the proceedings pending mediation. Pursuant to 2 R. Stat. § 2228, which
mandates mediation in civil cases against an agent of the government, the Court finds it appropriate to stay the
proceedings temporarily to allow for statutorily-required mediation. The motion is GRANTED. It is hereby:
ORDERED that the proceedings in the above-mentioned case are STAYED until Tuesday, February 27,
2024, at 12:45am EST, or until the mediation process is successfully concluded, whichever occurs first.
It is further ORDERED that the Attorney General, as arbiter, shall file a status report with the Court no
later than Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11:59pm EST providing an update on the mediation process and
whether any agreements or settlements have been reached.
IT IS SO ORDERED this 20th day of February in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty-four and the
year of our republic, two hundred and forty-seven.
