Additionally, the Court makes the following statement, notes, and observations related to
this case:
The Defendant had good intentions but still violated the law. The court cannot entirely excuse
this act but the court can instead use its sentencing power to build instead of deteriorating the
future of the Defendant in Ridgeway. In lieu of a hefty sentence, I instituted a probation plan to
lower the amount of time imprisoned.
CONDITIONS OF PROBATION
The Defendant has been ordered to serve TWO WEEKS (14 days) in a probation
program administered by the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office. If any of the following terms
are violated or the probation is revoked for any reason, the Court may impose any suspended
sentence pending judgment as well as additional incarceration as required by state law.
● You are to report once every five (7) days to your assigned probation officer pursuant to 1
R. Stat. § 2303.
● You are to comply with all searches of your house, apartment, dwelling, vehicles, or other
belongings pursuant to 1 R. Stat. § 2307 if there exists reasonable suspicion of any
contraband or unlawful activity by any law enforcement officer.
● You are not to carry, possess, or discharge any firearm during your term on probation
pursuant to 1 R. Stat. § 2306.
● You are to identify yourself as a person on probation if ever asked by a law enforcement
officer during your term on probation pursuant to 1 R. Stat. § 2309.
● You are not to commit any crimes, engage in criminal behavior, or otherwise be charged
for a criminal offense within the State of Ridgeway during your term on probation.
● You are not to engage in any injurious, confrontational, or aggressive communications
with any person that was related to this case, including attorneys for the Government, any
victims of the case, witnesses, or other relevant persons.
● You are not to purchase, possess, sell, or otherwise have any unlawful materials,
including government equipment made unlawful under R.C.C. § 5.08 except when
required as part of your employment with the Government.
● You are to notify your probation officer within twenty-four (24) hours of purchase of any
house, apartment, or other dwelling.
