AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF DEFAULT JUDGMENT
I, Arthur_Chen, being duly sworn, hereby depose and state as follows:
1. I am the plaintiff in the above-mentioned case, and I have personal knowledge of the
facts and circumstances related to this affidavit.
2. This affidavit is submitted in support of my Motion for Default Judgment pursuant to
Rule 37(b) of the Ridgeway Rules of Civil Procedure.
3. The defendant, DevMix, was properly served with the summons and complaint in this
case on January 20th, 2024, and has failed to file an answer or otherwise appear with a
serious defense within the time allowed.
4. The plaintiff's claim against the defendant is for a sum certain, specifically, the total
amount due is $5,125.
5. Despite proper service and notice of the legal proceedings, the defendant has failed to
respond or take any action in this matter.
6. Pursuant to Rule 37(b), I respectfully request the entry of a default judgment against the
defendant for the sum certain of $5,125, representing the amount due as a result of the
default.
7. The computation of the amount due is as follows:
Principal Amount: $5,000
Court Costs: $125
8. I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
