On the 25th of July, 2023, in the #screenshots Discord Channel in the State of Ridgeway Discord,
BluePercivel encouraged and requested all viewers of his messages in that Discord Channel to
unlawfully kill daviddevvil2, through violating criminal law, for $250 in-game money, and BluePercivel
stated that this money reward could be claimed through sending a video of the person killing
daviddevvil2 to BluePercivel in Discord Direct Messages. Attached alongside these messages was a
poster with a picture of daviddevvil2 with the words “WANTED DEAD DAVIDDEVVIL2 $250 PER
KILL”. BluePercivel then, immediately after sending the messages, told daviddevvil2 to watch his back.
STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE
INTRODUCTION AND OFFICER BACKGROUND
[1] I am a Sergeant in the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office and a Supervisory Detective in the Criminal
Investigations Division (hereinafter “CID”). As a law enforcement officer, I am empowered to conduct
investigations.
[2] I have been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since 25th December 2020. I have been a Detective with
the CID since March 12th, 2022.
[3] During my tenure as a patrol deputy, I gained an extensive amount of knowledge and experience in field
investigations as well as major organized firearm crime. At the time of my assignment to the CID, I was further
trained in the field of investigations. Since then, I have worked in numerous investigations and operations
pertaining to firearm crime (including trafficking and unlawful sale), government corruption, homicides, and other
State offenses. I currently hold a supervisory position in the CID and one of my duties includes leading
investigations and educating future detectives on the basics of investigative work.
[4] This statement is being submitted in support of a criminal complaint alleging that BLUEPERCIVEL,
violated the following state criminal laws: 6 S.C.C § 03 (Solicitation to Commit a Crime).
[5] This statement is based on my personal knowledge, information provided to me by other law enforcement
agents, law enforcement records, witness interviews, and my training and experience, as well as the training and
experience of other law enforcement agents.
[6] Because this statement is being submitted for the limited purpose of establishing probable cause in
support of a criminal complaint, I have not included each and every fact known to me concerning this
investigation. I have only set forth the facts that I believe are necessary to establish probable cause that the
defendant violated the state criminal laws set forth herein.
STATEMENT
[7] On July 26th, 2023, the CID received a tip from a complainant alleging that the defendant had placed a
reward of 250 dollars for the successful killing of Senator daviddevvil2 and posted this message in the State of
Ridgeway server on July 25th.
[8] I was able to locate this message in the State of Ridgeway server. In the message, the defendant offers
250 dollars for every kill on Senator daviddevvil2 and informs that the reward can be claimed by direct messaging
the defendant with a video clip of the killing. The message is sent with a picture of a Wild West-styled “wanted”
poster. The defendant also makes a remark to the Senator, warning them to “watch yo back”.
[9] I personally interviewed the complainant, Jay_McClau as well as Senator daviddevvil2. I was not able to
make contact with the defendant.
[10] Both interviewees declined personally knowing the defendant, nor any specific motive behind the act. Mr.
Clau speculated it might be due to the Senator’s recent controversial decisions. The interviewees were not aware
of whether the reward was claimed.
[11] I conclude that a message encouraging and requesting the killing of Senator daviddevvil2 for the reward
of 250 dollars was indeed sent by the defendant in the State of Ridgeway server on July 25th, 2023, at around
4:09 PM Eastern Standard Time, and thus the defendant committed solicitation.

[13] Based on the foregoing, your affiant submits there is probable cause to believe that BLUEPERCIVEL
violated 6 S.C.C § 03, which makes it a crime to encourage, bribe, request, or command a person to commit a
crime.
