GRAND JURY INDICTMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE STATE OF RIDGEWAY:
The GRAND JURY, for the County of Ridgeway, State of Ridgeway, duly selected, empanelled, sworn,
charged, and organized as such at the FEBRUARY Term, AD, 2023, of the Ridgeway Superior Court,
upon their oaths present in and to said Court at said term that BATTALIONGAVIN, hereinafter styled
Defendant, be hereby charged as follows.
COUNT 1
TREASON
FELONY
On or about the date of January 9th, the Defendant deleted the Special Response Team Handbook for the
Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office. The defendant was the owner of the document and the document
served as an official document of the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office. The Defendant with full
knowledge of this act intentionally vandalized the property of the Ridgeway State Government,
thereafter committing treason.
COUNT 2
OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE
FELONY
On or about the date of January 9th, the Defendant deleted the Special Response Team Handbook for the
Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office. The defendant was the owner of the document and the document
served as an official document of the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office. Through the deletion of this
handbook, the defendant hindered members of the Special Response Team from performing their duties.
AGAINST THE PEACE AND DIGNITY OF THE STATE.
