On January 27th, 2023, the defendant knowingly and intentionally discharged his firearm within close
proximity to a residential area at a StudsPerSecond Driver.

On January 27th, 2023, the defendant knowingly and intentionally discharged his firearm at a law
enforcement officer, resulting in their death.
STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE
I am Detective theburnerphone with the Palmer Police Department's Special Investigations Unit.
I initially began my law enforcement career in the Ridgeway County Sheriff's Office as a
Correctional Officer, before gaining a certification with the Law Enforcement Training Centre
during LETC Class 9 and eventually became a Deputy within the department. I joined the Courts
& Correctional Services division based on my experience as a CO. I then transferred to the
Special Response Team after successfully completing the Special Response Academy process,
before transferring to the Palmer Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit. As previously
mentioned, I am a graduate of LETC class 9, a certified police officer within the State of
Ridgeway, and I have Probable Cause that:
The complainant (Mr. inept_oblong) filed a police report with the Palmer Police Department, and
after its successful submission, was referred to the Special Investigations Unit for thorough
investigation & scrutinisation.
The video(s) presented to the unit (labelled Evidence Exhibit 08B) shows the initial
confrontation between a StudsPerSecond driver (hereinafter ‘9syn9’) and the defendant. The
video begins as Mr. 9syn9 is seen driving from the direction of Cyrus Gas Station towards the
Ridgeway Park Service’s main station, where the complainant is currently situated. The video
shows the defendant drive on the incorrect side of the road, and drifts into on-coming traffic,
narrowly missing Mr. 9syn9. The defendant can then be seen exiting their vehicle, and
immediately brandishes a Stetson M1 rifle. The defendant then discharges two (2) rounds at the
SPS van, causing minor damage to the van. In a follow up interview with Mr. 9syn9, it was
revealed that after this incident immediately took place, Mr. 9syn9 drove in a hurried fashion
towards the Ridgeway Park Service station, in search of aid. It was here where Mr. 9syn9 found
the complainant (Mr. inept_oblong), who at the time was a Ridgeway Park Service Full-time
Ranger.
Upon the pair exchanging a brief conversation about the suspect’s actions, and his description,
the defendant arrives on scene at the Park Service station. It is around here (Evidence Exhibit
08A) where the defendant exits their vehicle across the grass parking lot of the RPS Station, and
begins to discharge his firearm at the Park Service ranger. The defendant makes an attempt to
vacate the scene, however manages to land fatal shots on the Ranger, causing the complainant’s
death. Before the video cuts off, you can clearly see the defendant approach the Ranger’s body,
where his username can be made out clearly & visibly.
