PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT INTERNAL AFFAIRS DIVISION
Expedited Hearing per the Employee Desertion Act (In Re tankseb)
TO: Superior Court Judge koala4life
Ridgeway Superior Court
On January 28th, 2023, Patrol Officer tankseb was reported to the Internal Affairs Division after leaving
the Palmer Police Department communication server along with all Ridgeway-related servers. The
officer-in-question did not leave the main department Roblox group. Shortly after, the officer was
contacted by myself, Sergeant Da_BeastlyMan, however they did not respond. The Palmer Police
Department Standard Operating Procedure states under Policy 502.1 that “officers who are wishing to
resign or transfer from the department must give a 24 hour notice to a Captain+ before they
resign/transfer from the department”. The officer was not provided with any permission, authorization, or
discharged from the department by a Captain+ which would allow him to leave the main PPD
communication server.
An administrative hearing was filed due to the officer’s desertion as this would warrant a dishonorable
discharge. The officer was yet again contacted by myself and failed to respond after numerous attempts.
As the officer is unable to be contacted, this document has been filed under the Employee Desertion Act,
and intends to have the officer terminated from the Palmer Police Department as a dishonorable
discharge.
This letter requesting an expedited ruling is submitted under 2 R. Stat. § 3112. This expedited ruling can be
granted if (1) the claim made by the employer brings a review for dishonorable discharge in which that the
employee has deserted their duties; (2) the employee has not responded to or complied to efforts of the
employer to communicate with the employee; and (3) the Administrative Court has attempted to summon
the employee to stand before the Court but the employee has not responded. See 2 R. Stat. § 3112. All of
these requirements have been met in this case.
We request that the respondent in this matter be dishonorably discharged for desertion.
