OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING OFFICER SPECIAL OPERATIONS WING RIDGEWAY NATIONAL GUARD December 10th, 2022 On December 9th, 2022, the Military Intelligence Service received a complaint alleging that Staff Sergeant BrandonnLUV had left the Ridgeway National Guard Roblox group and Discord server without proper permission or discharge. The Military Intelligence Service sustained the summary deposition of this complaint and launched an investigation into Staff Sergeant BrandonnLUV for deserting from the National Guard. On December 9th, 2022, Corporal domleisok sustained the final disposition of the investigation and found BrandonnLUV in violation of Code of Conduct 3004.1(b), “Type III Desertion.” Per the Code of Conduct of the Ridgeway National Guard, any offense of the Code of Conduct can result in punishment up to Dishonorable Discharge from the National Guard. The investigator in this investigation recommended that BrandonnLUV be dishonorably discharged from the National Guard for their negligence in leaving without proper notice. MIS Command subsequently approved of the report and punishment. The Ridgeway National Guard’s Code of Conduct 3004.1(b), “Type III Desertion” states, “the act of leaving official post without the proper authorization to do so or failing to follow all applicable regulations while leaving post.” Staff Sergeant BrandonnLUV did not notify any command member of them leaving their official post therefore in violation of such policy as they did not receive proper authorization per the Code of Conduct. A violation of the Code of Conduct can result in up to a dishonorable discharge from the department. The Department has no contact with Staff Sergeant BrandonnLUV due to them leaving all Ridgeway related Discord servers. In Exhibits C & D, you can see that the department tried to look up Staff Sergeant BrandonnLUV through the Ridgeway Discord and the National Guard Discord but was not found despite our best efforts. The Ridgeway National Guard now files this brief for waiver of hearing under the Employee Desertion Act. Furthermore, the department demands termination from the Ridgeway National Guard and dishonorable discharge.
