Come forth the State of Ridgeway to seek justice and preserve the dignity of the state and therein
charge the defendant;
COUNT ONE - FIRST DEGREE MURDER
OFFENSE TYPE - FELONY
MAX SENTENCE - 35 MINUTES
On or about November 5th 2022, in the City of Sterling, State of Ridgeway, Defendant premediately
and with malice murdered Deputy Natedog9982, an on-duty Sheriff’s Deputy acting in his official
capacity, thereby committing First Degree Murder by knowingly murdering the Deputy.
COUNT TWO - AGGRAVATED ASSAULT CLASS II
OFFENSE TYPE - FELONY
MAX SENTENCE - 15 MINUTES
On or about November 5th 2022, in the City of Sterling, State of Ridgeway, Defendant knowingly and
premeditated threatened through the use of a deadly weapon an on-duty peace officer, causing a threat of
imminent bodily injury or apprehension, thereby committing Aggravated Assault Class II.
COUNT THREE - BRANDISHING
OFFENSE TYPE - MISDEMEANOR
MAX SENTENCE - 15 MINUTES
On or about November 5th 2022, in the City of Sterling, State of Ridgeway, Defendant knowingly and
premeditated, without the excuse of self-defense, drew and exhibited a loaded firearm in a threatening
manner against a sworn peace officer, thereby committing Brandishing.
COUNT FOUR - UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM
OFFENSE TYPE - MISDEMEANOR
MAX SENTENCE - 20 MINUTES
On or about November 5th 2022, in the City of Sterling, State of Ridgeway, Defendant knowingly and
premeditated, without the excuse of self-defense, drew and fired his firearm within city and residential
limits toward a sworn peace-officer, thereby committing Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm.
COUNT FIVE - OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE
OFFENSE TYPE - FELONY
MAX SENTENCE - 20 MINUTES
On or about November 5th 2022, in the City of Sterling, State of Ridgeway, Defendant knowingly and
premeditated, obstructed Deputy Natedog9982 from executing their duties as a sworn Sheriff’s Deputy
by murdering him, thereby interfering with Deputy Natedog9982’s ability to perform his lawful duties.
Thereby, Defendant committed Obstruction of Justice.
