SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF RIDGEWAY BETATHEWOLFGAMER, Plaintiff, v. MXRLSX, Defendant. No. RSC-CV-657 COMPLAINT BetaTheWolfGamer, by and through undersigned counsel, hereby brings this civil action and alleges as follows– INTRODUCTION 1. On or about September 4th, 2022, Plaintiff BetaTheWolfGamer and Defendant Mxrlsx were hanging out at the Ridgeway County Transit Authority (RCTA) depot in Palmer, Ridgeway. 2. Mxrlsx came up to Beta and started pushing them around. 3. Beta asked Mxrlsx to “stop please” and ordered them to stop. 4. Mxrlsx refused to stop and, as a result, was detained by Beta. 5. Beta told Mxrlsx “stop or go to jail [for disorderly conduct].” 6. Mxrlsx pushed Beta around again, and Beta then placed them under arrest for disorderly conduct in violation of Section 6.05 of the Ridgeway Criminal Code. 7. Beta brought Mxrlsx to booking at the Headquarters of the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office, where Sergeant TaxesArentAwesome opined on the arrest, stating, “this is indeed disorderly [conduct] because you are battering a person with your body.” JURISDICTION AND VENUE 8. This Court has jurisdiction under Article V, Section IV of the Constitution of the State of Ridgeway. Plaintiff BetaTheWolfGamer is a Ridgeway resident and a Deputy of the Ridgeway County Sheriff’s Office. 11. Defendant Mxrlsx is a resident of the State of Ridgeway. FIRST CAUSE OF ACTION (Assault) 12. Plaintiff repeats and realleges the allegations in all preceding paragraphs as if fully set forth herein. 13. Defendant intentionally and voluntarily caused Plaintiff reasonable apprehension of an immediate harmful or offensive contact. SECOND CAUSE OF ACTION (Battery) 14. Plaintiff repeats and realleges the allegations in all preceding paragraphs as if fully set forth herein. 15. Defendant brought unconsented harmful and/or offensive contact against Plaintiff by slamming Plaintiff with their body. PRAYER FOR RELIEF Wherefore, Plaintiff prays that the Court– ON THE FIRST CAUSE OF ACTION a. Declare that Defendant assaulted Plaintiff; b. Award Plaintiff actual and punitive damages; c. Order Defendant to apologize for their conduct; d. Award Plaintiff attorneys’ fees; e. Award such other, further, or different relief as may be just and proper.
