MOTION FOR DISCOVERY
Plaintiff

Defendant
In accordance with rule 11(b) of the Ridgeway Rules of Criminal Procedure, submits a motion of
discovery to the defense:
BACKGROUND
1. Statements by the Defendant.
All confessions, admissions, and statements, in writing, and signed by the
Defendant, in connection with the offense in which the Defendant is herein indicted;
2. Witness or Expert Testimony.
The names, contact information and written testimony of any witness the Defense
intends to present at trial, or will present, if the need arises, under Rule 17, 26 and 27 of the
Ridgeway Rules of Evidence, and any exhibits the Defense plans to use to summarise
or enforce the testimony;
3. Exhibits.
Any and all other evidence the Defense has to offer of which may either (1) raise
reasonable doubt; (2) impeach the credibility of the Prosecution's case; or (3) will support
any affirmative defense presented by the Defense.
CONCLUSION
For the foregoing reasons, the Motion should be granted, and the Defense be given
twenty four hours to turn over all evidence they possess and their list of witnesses to the
State of Ridgeway.
