BACKGROUND
On the 27th of July 2022 the Ridgeway Justice Department filed an information alleging violations of 3
S.C.C. § 08 on one count and 5 S.C.C. § 07 on one count. The defendant appeared and pleaded not guilty to
charge one and guilty to charge two.
JUDGMENT
The government admits one exhibit, state’s Exhibit A, which depicts the defendant’s allegedly criminal
acts. The government called two witnesses, unseenarmy and ConstantlyVerbal to testify in support of their
allegations against the defendant. The defense contends in their case-in-chief that the government has not
proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant intended to kill Mr. unseenarmy while they were acting in
state’s Exhibit A. The defense argues that this must be the case because state’s Exhibit A is lacking context.
This court rejects this argument. Context is missing, yes, however, there is no circumstance under which
any missing context could be relevant. To follow another person for nearly one full minute whilst brandishing
and swinging a spiked bat at them is demonstrative of ill-intent to kill another person. There is no justifiable
reason for this conduct, much less reasonable doubt that the conduct was justified or not in violation of the law.
CONCLUSION
For the aforementioned stated reasons, this court finds the defendant;
- GUILTY ON COUNT ONE OF THE INFORMATION - 3 S.C.C. § 08 - ATTEMPTED
MURDER
- GUILTY ON COUNT TWO OF THE INFORMATION - 5 S.C.C. § 07 - UNLAWFUL
POSSESSION OF AN ALTERED BLUNT WEAPON
IT IS SO ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED.
