The Defendant, boys1284, is in possession of a extendable baton that can only be dispensed by Law
Enforcement.
STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE
I am Special Agent BlackMrcow23, Ridgeway State Bureau of Investigations. I've been a law
enforcement officer in Ridgeway for about a year. My career started in the Palmer Police Department on
the 20th of May, 2021. On 06/28/2021, I transferred from the Palmer Police to the Ridgeway County
Sheriff's Office, and I served for about 3-4 months in the Special Response Team. On 10/02/2021, I
transferred to the Ridgeway State Police, and served in the Field Operations Bureau for over 5 months as
a Lieutenant. Recently, I've transferred to the State Bureau of Investigations. I am a graduate of LETC
class 4, a certified law enforcement officer and I have probable cause to believe that:
On May 21st, 2022, the Ridgeway State Bureau of Investigations was informed that boys1284, a
Ridgeway Citizen, was in possession of a law enforcement dispensed baton. The State Bureau of
Investigations viewed the evidence provided, and can validate the statements provided below.
In the Department of Justice complaint, the complainant provided Exhibit A. Exhibit A begins
with Trooper Smashcans of the Ridgeway State Police, Traffic Enforcement Division, on foot with their
taser drawn. They then rush to the driver's side of a white Percival, a confirmed suspect in a pursuit, and
begin to remove the driver from their seat. As the driver is ejected, the passenger jumps out and shoots
at the Trooper, killing him. The passenger hides behind the percival for protection after killing the
Trooper as Palmer Police Department Officer FadJrUnderwood comes to assist the Trooper. Meanwhile,
the suspect in this case, boys1284, has pulled out a baton and is swiping it around in the air. The
passenger murders the Palmer Police Department Officer, then jumps back into the passenger seat of the
Percival, while boys1284 stands over the Trooper and swings their baton over them. Boys1284 then gets
into the percival driver seat, and they both flee the area.
With the evidence given, it is clear that the suspect is in possession of a police-issued baton.
