IN THE SUPERIOR COURT OF THE STATE OF RIDGEWAY
State of Ridgeway
Plainti,
v.
Gelpnah
Defendant.
RULING ON MOTION TO DISMISS
BY THE
HONOURABLE JUDGE DANNLABS
Counsel for the Plainti: Attorney General Cliord2
Counsel for the Defendant: Public Defender TaxesArentAwesome
Place of Hearing: N/A
Date of Hearing: N/A
Date of Judgement: June 2nd, 2022
IN THE CASE OF STATE V. GELPNAH
The court hereby finds the defendant GUILTY on count ONE and NOT GUILTY on counts TWO & THREE
REASONING
Disptie the state’s arguably admissible expert witness / lay witness (?) the evidence provided in the original Criminal
Information shows overwhelmingly that the defendant had committed the murder of AlexJCabot, however for
charges two and three, the prosecution fails to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Gelpnah had committed the
crimes in question.

RE: COUNTS TWO & THREE
When reviewing the evidence for counts two and three for this judgement, it became apparent to me that the
evidence provided was incredibly poor at best. It was, at the very least, trying to correlate the events, but of course we
all know the axiom of “correlation does not imply causation.” (Builder Servs. Grp. v. Taylor (2020))
It has been said and required over and over again for many years that the prosecution must prove that their evidence
is beyond a reasonable doubt, but looking at the evidence provided, it simply doesnt prove anything. Even if these
charges were tried for again, it would simply not be possible to find mister Gelpnah guilty on the evidence provided
alone.
CONCLUSION
As such, I find mister Gelpnah to be guilty of ONLY count one, with the latter two & three being found not guilty.
SENTENCE
As requested by the state, Gelpnah shall be sentenced to spend 30 Minutes in the county jail.
It is so ordered,
