BACKGROUND
On the 10th of May 2022 the State of Ridgeway filed a criminal information in this case against the
defendant Robloxgamer400253 charging him with second-degree murder. After being unable to reach the
defendant, the decision was made to hold the case in absentia, where an automatic plea of not guilty was entered
on behalf of the defendant. The case proceeded to trial on the 23rd of May 2022.
JUDGEMENT
During the trial, the prosecution called an expert witness to examine the video of the alleged crime, as
well as a transcribed interview with the victim. This examination showed the court the actus reus of the crime
but did not prove anything in terms of mens rea. The second witness, and only material witness, was not able to
recall most of what happened and proved very little to the court.
CONCLUSION
For the reasons above, the court finds the defendant not guilty on all charges. The defendant is acquitted
and discharged by this court.
SO ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED.
