ORDER AND JUDGMENT
FACTUAL BACKGROUND
On July 15th, 2021 a motion for default judgment was entered after the defendant failed
to show up to the trial. Defendant failed to respond within the 48 hour window allotted to them
as required by Rid. R. Civ. P. 7(b).
CONCLUSION
Default judgment in favor of Plaintiff, Defendant is ordered to compensate Plaintiff with
$1,500 for the claim of assault, and $2,500 for the claim of battery by July 25th, 2021 at 9:30 PM
Eastern Time, failure to do so will result in a warrant for Defendant's arrest.
