STATE OF RIDGEWAY COUNTY OF RIDGEWAY THE PEOPLE OF RIDGEWAY COUNTY Plaintiff vs. Zxntage Defendant Case No. CCRC-CM-1266 CRIMINAL INFORMATION Come forth the people of Ridgeway County to seek justice and preserve the dignity of the county and therein charge the defendant; COUNT ONE - 3 R.C.C. § 09 - FIRST DEGREE MURDER OFFENSE TYPE: FELONY MAX SENTENCE: 35 MINUTES The defendant was pulled over by a Palmer Police Department Officer, exited his vehicle, grabbed his Stetson and murdered the Palmer Police Officer that was initially leaving the scene, with clear intent to do so as they were pulled over awaiting their chance. COUNT TWO - 3 R.C.C. § 09 - FIRST DEGREE MURDER OFFENSE TYPE: FELONY MAX SENTENCE: 35 MINUTES The defendant decided to kill another officer when he could have fled the scene then and there. They showed no hesitation or any sort of intent to escape before the officers were both dead. COUNT THREE - 5 R.C.C. § 04 - BRANDISHING OFFENSE TYPE: MISDEMEANOR MAX SENTENCE: 15 MINUTES The defendant stepped out of their vehicle and illegally brandished their weapon within Palmer City Limits, outside of the store that sells the firearms. can be seen holding out their firearm in an area that falls under Palmer’s city limits. The defendant had no legal means or immunities to be holding out their firearm. COUNT FOUR - 5 R.C.C. § 05 - UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM OFFENSE TYPE: MISDEMEANOR MAX SENTENCE: 25 MINUTES The defendant can be seen on the video firing at the police officers present on the scene, he had no reason to do so, as he was not being shot at and instead opened fire first. COUNT FIVE - 2 R.C.C. § 02 - AIDING ESCAPE OFFENSE TYPE: FELONY MAX SENTENCE: 20 MINUTES The videoclip showcases the arrested suspect jumping onto the defendant’s car saying “Just drive”, after which the defendant obliged and transported them away from the scene in order to help him escape. COUNT SIX - 4 R.C.C. § 09 - EVIDENCE THEFT OFFENSE TYPE: MISDEMEANOR MAX SENTENCE: 15 MINUTES In the evidence (Exhibit A) it can be seen that the defendant picks up multiple packs of Police-Issue ammo which were left by the bodies of the then dead police officers. STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE On April 19th, 2021, Lieutenant Commissioner_Jason initiates a traffic stop near the tunnels on a light gray Cavela located in the City Limits of Palmer and requests additional units to respond with priority. Corporal BetaAquaDev, who is very close to the scene, attaches himself to the traffic stop to serve as an additional unit. Commissioner_Jason requests another additional unit. Shortly thereafter, the initiating officer, Commissioner_Jason, exits his vehicle, with BetaAquaDev following. Both officers walk up to the vehicle upon which an Officer presses the panic button. Lieutenant Commissioner_Jason then tells Corporal BetaAquaDev to go, to which he complies and responds to the priority call. BetaAquaDev is seen running to his car and attempting to respond to the priority call. As BetaAquaDev is attempting to drive away from the traffic stop, the individual who was pulled over by the Commissioner_Jason exits the vehicle and proceeds to illegally brandish their weapon and shoot Commissioenr_Jason, to which he immediately cuffs the individual. Upon the Commissioner_Jason placing his suspect in handcuffs, the Defendant steps out of his vehicle and proceeds to illegally brandish his firearm, shoot and kill Corporal BetaAquaDev and Commissioner_Jason immediately thereafter. The defendant then illegally picks up evidence from an active scene and proceeds to aid in the escape of Commissioner_Jason’s suspect by driving away from the active scene with the cuffed individual atop his roof. EVIDENCE Exhibit A - A recording of the events listed on the CI that took place Exhibit B - A map showcasing the definition of “city limits”, specifically for the city of Palmer.
