1. COMES NOW, Detachment_Result, hereby moves the Court to remove themselves in
this matter. In support thereof, movant states the following:
2. Movant is no longer employed by the Department of Justice following his resignation.
3. At least twenty-four (24) hours before notice of resignation, movant made reasonable
efforts to ensure a smooth transition of counsel by asking fellow colleagues to participate
in this matter. At the time of writing, no other attorney from the DOJ has shown an
interest to take lead in the prosecution.
4. Movant is not asking the court to dismiss for want of prosecution (yet).
5. Movant seeks this Court to stay the proceeding, allow movant to withdraw from this
matter, and provide the prosecution an allocated time to assign a new prosecutor.
6. Movant has become employed with the Public Defender’s Office. Movant hereby notifies
this Court it will not participate in the defense of this matter given a clear conflict of
interest.

WHEREFORE, the movant prays that this Court enter an order removing
Detachment_Result of the record for the plaintiff and grant any such order and further
relief as may be just and necessary.
