AMENDED MOTION TO ADVANCE OR EXPEDITE
Comes now the Petitioner, by and through counsel, to respectfully move the court for
advanced consideration of the filed petition for expungement. On July 29, 2025, the Petitioner
filed his petition for expungement. The expungement being sought is a Class I expungement
pursuant to 1 R. Stat. § 2315, with the Petitioner having fewer than ten records. Twelve days
have since passed since the initial filing, with this matter having been docketed for eleven days.
Accordingly, 1 R. Stat. § 2315 does not require a hearing for expungement petitions
falling within Class I. As such, the Petitioner respectfully requests the court to advance
consideration of this petition without a hearing.
