EXPUNGEMENT
PETITION FOR CLASS 1 EXPUNGEMENT
1. Petitioner meets all the statutory requirements for a mandatory Class 1
Expungement under 1 R. Stat. § 2316.
a. Fewer than 10 Records: The arrest of July 2, 2025, is the only record Petitioner
seeks to have expunged. This is fewer than the 10-record limit.
b. No Crimes in the Last 14 Days: More than 14 days have passed since the date
of the arrest on July 2, 2025, and Petitioner has not committed any crimes during this
period or since.
c. Good Standing in the Community: Petitioner is a law-abiding citizen in good
standing with the community. Petitioner wishes to expunge in order to get stable
employment within Ridgeway County. The continued existence of this arrest record
poses an undue hardship and does not accurately reflect Petitioner's character.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests that this Honorable Court enter an
Order:
a. Granting this Petition for Expungement pursuant to 1 R. Stat. § 2316;
